What is Vitamin B5? and what does is do :/?

i really have no idea,
alot of people have told me i dont get much vitamin B5.
and i have pretty bad skin. and i heard that if you take vitamin B5 tablets it will reduce blemishes/acne.
what else does it do? helpp :D
