Clearly, retinol help acne?

I read in a magazine when you clean your face with a normal cleaners (such as Aveeno clear complexion) and apply retinol to help to Cure Acne, acne will clear up your. Is that true? Has anyone followed this? Does anyone have a good Treatments for acne? I have tried everything, including ProActiv. It worked, after a few months, I think my skin has to use something to it or not. By the way, is retinol in anti-aging creams.

It works, but you should get from your dermatologist. I used it, and it really cleared things up, but it dries the hell out of your face. Seriously, if you use use it only use it on the pimples and not the Savon / CVS face crap, you have all the scents and are not prone to acne skin. At least Cetaphil or Neutrogena to go.
